What Pesso can and can’t do

Pesso is a self-custodial wallet: the money in it is yours, and only you can move it. We never hold, move, freeze or recover your funds, and we never see your key. We can help you understand what happened, but we can’t reverse a payment or get money back for you.

How do I sign in?

With Google or with a code sent to your email, and in the iPhone app with Apple too. Your wallet belongs to your sign-in: use the same Google account or email you use on pesso.xyz and you open the same wallet. A different account opens a different, empty wallet.

How is my wallet protected?

With a passkey or an authenticator app, which you set up in Pesso. A passkey syncs through iCloud Keychain or your password manager, so it comes with you to a new device. You can export your key from the Receive screen on pesso.xyz.

How do I add money?

Coinbase handles card and Apple Pay purchases, under its own terms. Disputes, refunds and limits are Coinbase’s to decide — ask Coinbase Help.

Can I cancel a payment I sent?

No. Payments on the blockchain are final, and no one — including Pesso — can reverse one. Money sent to a wrong address can’t be undone, so check the address before you confirm.

Who sees my payment requests?

Anyone who holds the link, even before they sign in. It shows your email, the amount, your note, when it expires and whether it can be paid more than once. Share it only with people you’re happy to see those.

What does trading cost?

Pesso adds no fee to a trade. Before you confirm, Pesso shows the minimum you’ll receive. Less well-known tokens carry more risk: they can be hard to sell, and their price can fall to nothing.

What is the network fee?

Every transaction on the blockchain pays a small network fee. Pesso pays it in digital dollars from your wallet, and shows it before you confirm.

How do I delete my account?

In the iPhone app, open Account and choose Delete account. On the web, email support@pesso.xyz from the address you sign in with. First move out any money above $0.01: deleting your account deletes the only key that can sign for your wallet.

Deleting removes your sign-in account and its key, your transfer notes, payment request links, API keys, webhook endpoints and trade records. What stays: your transactions on the blockchain, which are public and permanent, and our fee records, without your name or identifier.

Staying alert

Pesso will never ask for your sign-in code, your passkey or your key — not by email, message or phone. Anyone who asks is not Pesso. To report a suspicious message or a security issue, write to support@pesso.xyz.
